Management requests your co-operation in observing the following:
Check-in: Is at 4:00pm. Early arrivals may occur will be based on availability.
Check-out: Is by 11:00am. Late departures are available for a fee.
Guest’s Belongings: Guests are particularly requested to lock the door of their rooms when going out or going to bed. The Management will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss or damage to the Guest’s belongings or any other property from either the hotel room or the locker or any other part of the hotel for any cause whatsoever including theft of pilferage.
Pets: Pets are not allowed at The Black Bear Lodge with the exception of service animals. Proper Identification for a service animal is required upon check-in.
No Smoking: Smoking or vaping of any kind is not allowed inside the building. Smoking is allowed outside 25 feet away from the building.
Damage to Property: The guest will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the hotel property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible.
Management’s Rights: It is agreed that the guest will conduct him/ herself in a respectable manner and will not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the hotel premises. The Management has the right to request any guest to vacate his/her room or other areas of the hotel forthwith, Without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In case of the default, the Management has the right to remove the Guest luggage and belongings from the room occupied by him/her.
Relation between Management and Guest: Nothing hereinabove shall continue or be deemed to constitute, or create any tenancy or sub-tenancy, or any other right to interact in the hotel premises or any part of portion thereof, in favor of any Guest, resident or visitor, and the Management shall always be deemed to be in full and absolute possession of the whole of the hotel premises.
Government rules and regulations and application of laws: Guests are requested to observe, abide by confirming to and be bound by all applicable acts and laws and Government rules and regulations in force from time to time.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours in the Black Bear Lodge are observed daily from 10:00pm until 8:00am the following day. For the sake of our residents, we ask that you observe the quiet hours. If you become aware of a disruptive guest, please contact Front Desk staff immediately by room phone or in person. Televisions, voices, or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly. No congregating or running in halls.
Outside Visitors: No visitors after 10:00 p.m. Visitors must notify Front Desk upon their arrival. Visitors must be accompanied by the registered guest at all times. Visitors are not allowed to use guest amenities including the hot tub, continental breakfast, or Wi-Fi. As a registered guest, you are responsible for your visitor at all times.
Cancellations: Black Bear Lodge is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies, or schedule changes. Reservations cancelled fourteen days (14 days) prior to arrival subject to a $25 dollar processing fee. Inside of fourteen days (14 days) is a one (1) night full room cancellation fee. If reservations are cancelled less than 48 hours before the arrival date, your credit card may be charged the full room charge plus taxes. If you are staying more than one (1) night, only the first night and taxes will be charged. If you cancel any reservation, you must obtain and save the cancellation number for your records.
No-Show Charges: Failure to check in on the scheduled arrival date for a reservation guaranteed with a credit card will result in a No-Show fee being charged to your credit card. You will only be charged the first night, one (1) night’s full room rate plus taxes and the balance of the reservation will be cancelled.
Group Reservations: Large group/Block reservations must be cancelled eight (8) weeks prior to arrival date. Reservations cancelled after that date may be charged one (1) full room charge plus tax for each room reserved and the balance of their reservations cancelled.
