Snow is on its way, and we couldn’t be more excited! The trails will be sparkling; the slopes will be buzzing with laughter and excitement. Whether you’re coming for skiing, snowboarding or just sitting by the fire with a cup of cocoa, winter in Waterville Valley is magical! This year is going to be one for the books for sure!
Next month the entire town begins the winter season transformation, but with an entirely new theme for town square.
Picture this…
You enter town square to find European-style chalets nestled together, the windows glowing like lanterns against the winter sky. Snowflakes lazily swirling through the air, the scent of cinnamon and cocoa beckons, and for a moment, the whole world feels at peace. Aaaaah…. Magical!
From November 28th to December 31st on the weekends and every day during Christmas week, Town Square is going to be transformed into a European-style market for the Christmas season, featuring local artisans and their crafts. Does this paint a perfect picture of what the Christmas season truly is?! November 29th is the 13th Annual Cold Turkey Plunge, Santa comes to visit Waterville Valley, and we also have the tree lighting. To complete the perfect opening for the Christmas season, the beloved fireworks 😊
