Dawn’s Diary 4-9-25

Hello, Black Bear Friends and Family! Can you believe it’s SPRING and all the great spring/summer activities are beginning to roll out on the events calendar?! I am so excited for Memorial Day activities like Casting for Kirby Youth Fishing Derby plus all the other activities, such as face painting, DIY t-shirts. The next day is the very first food fest of the season, the annual Chowderfest with samples from all the amazing restaurants, as well as Jugtown! Let me tell you, they ALL make a mean chowda and insanely challenging to cast a vote for your favorite! Last, but certainly not least, we close out the weekend with the very first Animal Encounter with Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. What I am truly going to enjoy is bringing my grandson to his very first Animal Encounter just like I used to bring his dad when he was little 😊

This is really gearing up to be an amazing summer here in the Valley, so get those reservations in and come and enjoy with us! I must add that if you are looking for a group get away of any kind, whether it be family reunion, hiking, fly fishing, quilting group, or just a group of friends looking to have a special weekend, we are here to make it special and memorable 😉
