Dawn’s Diary 3-25-25

What an amazing season it has been! We met so many wonderful people, welcomed in a bunch of groups, experienced some new activities as well as enjoyed many of the tried-and-true old seasonal favorites. One of the best parts of all of that was all the first timers gushing about how amazing this place is and how much fun they’ve had! We’ve accumulated more family members, which is one thing the Black Bear Lodge prides itself on (it’s our motto, you know 😉), and we do enjoy every bit of it! Now it’s time to get the last bits of this winter/spring fun in before the mountain closes, and they always do it right, you won’t want to miss out!

This week, 3/27 -3/28 is the Eastern Men’s Cup Finals and the Eastern Cup Men’s and Women’s Slalom. And on Friday, as always, the super fun Apres Ski Party with awesome live music with Mica’s Groove Train! Good times with a healthy dash of great memories made! Also, coming up is the Henderson Invitational followed by the Last Run Lu’au & Pond Skimming, and I will give all the details next week, but if all you Bear Cubs can’t wait, you can always go to the events calendar and check it out, that is going to be a fun packed day for EVERYONE!

Here at the Black Bear, we are catching our breath after the busy season, but only for a short minute. So many plans for upcoming events, family reunions, welcoming back old groups and dazzling new ones!
