Dawn’s Diary 1-24-25

It’s here, you guys! It’s FINALLY here! Toyota Waterville Freestyle WORLD CUP!!!!!!!! This is such an honor and a privilege to be here during this awesome event! So sorry I am “fan girling” this event so much!

Ok, I am done gushing, for a minute anyway haha! Here’s the INSANE line-up for the Toyota Waterville Freestyle World Cup:

Friday the 23rd will be Men’s and Women’s Moguls.

Beginning at 3 in the freestyle lounge, there will be Apres Ski Live music with Mugshot performing.

*And then, right in town Square there will be the U.S. Team introduction.

*6:15 to 6: 50 will be U.S. Team Autograph Signing

*Live music in Town Square

*7 Athlete bib draw and Presentation at

*7:30 will be Fireworks

Saturday will be Men’s and Women’s Dual Moguls.

3-6 will be more great entertainment with Apres ski Live music with On Two Duo in the Freestyle Lounge.

*4 will begin Night Skiing

Sunday:

On Sunday, January 26th the 2025 Toyota Waterville Freestyle Cup will be broadcasted live on CNBC from 2-3pm! Stop by the Freestyle Lounge and join in on the viewing party!

Lower Bobby’s Run at Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire has a pitch of 28 degrees, making it a world-class mogul skiing course. The run is known for being one of the steepest trails on the East Coast.

• The run is 246 meters long and faces east.
• The run is often left untouched by groomers.
• The run is named after Bobby Kennedy, who spent his last skiing vacation in Waterville Valley in 1968.
• The run is known for being ideal for mogul-style events.
• The run is known for having a large viewing area at the bottom.
• The run is known for having deep moguls in some parts.
• The run is known for being a challenging and technical skiing discipline

One more thing to mention, and it’s a good one! Rock City Vendor Village, how cool is that?! All kinds of NH-based and affiliated brands, interactive experiences, gear for purchase, AND some Apres brews to enjoy while watching the competition at the Rock City Slopeside Bar!!

Ok, there is so much to enjoy this weekend and be in the presence of greatness with all these world-class athletes!
