Dawn’s Diary 1-16-25

Here we are, another MLK weekend approaching quickly, and I do believe it is going to be a great weekend!

All right, all you skiing enthusiasts,NIGHT SKIING AND SKIN THE MOON is baaaaaack! So many are excited to get on up the hill under the stars, or even skin up Valley Run and Oblivion by the light of the moon and and feel the brisk air whipping by as you ski down. So that’s Friday night, then Saturday, there is the Chris Freeman Nordic clinic, which is just awesome at 4 pm, night skiing begins again and Sam Adams and the Sun Cruisers play some sweet tunes at Freestyle Lounge during the Apres party. For those of you who would like to enjoy a nice dinner sans the kiddos, KIDS NIGHT OUT is 6-8 with a drop off at the Waterville Valley Recreation Department! 7pm begins the MLK Fireworks, which are just ridiculously beautiful over the snow covered beach and Corcoran Pond!

Sunday is another fun filled day! Start off with the Church Chair and “chill” up there and enjoy Sunday FUNdue from 2:15-3:45 at Schwendi Hutte and then have a good time down at the Freestyle Lounge 4-7! Its going to be a great time for everyone here this weekend! And if you aren’t going to be here this weekend, make sure to book your reservations for next year.
