Hiking In Waterville Valley Nh

Hiking, biking, tennis, golf, skiing, ice skating . . . the list goes on and on, Waterville Valley is a mecca for fun, active adventure and offers the perfect setting: Fresh air and spectacular scenery!

Waterville Valley has some of the oldest hiking trails in the country with 4000 footers, Mount Osceola, Mount Tripyramid and Mount Tecumseh serving as the cornerstones. Not a hiker? Don’t worry, there are miles of walking trails in the valley that will lead you along babbling brooks, across raging rivers and into the White Mountain National Forest. There’s a hike or walk to be had for all abilities.

And if you like sports, you’ll love all the offerings included with your Freedom Pass. Try tennis on one of our 18 clay outdoor courts (or 2 indoor courts in case of inclement weather) or mountain biking from our Adventure Center (with many of the same walking/hiking trails open for riding). There’s even a chairlift that will take you and your bike up Snow’s Mountain for a thrilling ride down its slope or a more leisurely coast down a graded dirt road. There’s kayaking, paddleboarding, paddleboating and canoeing on Corcoran Pond, golf on our very own family-friendly golf course or indoor fun at the White Mountain Athletic Club, where you’ll find an indoor pool, sauna, hot tubs, steam room, weight & cardio rooms. In summer, the athletic club even offers an outdoor pool & kiddie splash pad.

Whatever your level of activity, Waterville Valley is a great place to stay invigorated during your vacation.
